Thanks for this. A few things popped out as things I'd like to learn more about: when you define facts as having two or more sources and a proof line - probably (edit: actually more than one or two searches deep...) I imagine it's like a facts' pedigree? ... and the notion that facts are defensible WHILE inviting falsification and the purposeful stance of humility of 'please correct us if this is wrong' - a difficult attitude to hold in a world of hot takes and how the algorithms thrive on argument...Another great distinction is Facts vs Opinions...and to see examples of how to identify the difference.

As individuals it would be interesting to start collating online resources around critical thinking skills and online content consumption hygiene. Like a greatest hits of how to visit the sewer of mis and disinformation, without drowning in it.
